How to collect and return your robes:

Collection:

Robes:
Your robes will be prepared for you by our staff in respect of the information you will have emailed to us. Your robes will be available prior to the ceremony in the robing room set aside by the College/University. An automated email acknowledgement will be returned to you. This email constitutes a proof of your booking and payment where applicable to Mc Ginley Gowns. It will show the reference number that would have been allocated to the robes prepared for you. This email will be needed for the collection of your robes. Where payment is made online this will be securely processed through our PCI compliant partners Realex.

Hats:
A selection of hat sizes will be available to you when you collect your robes.

Return:

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure everything is returned after the ceremony.

Refunds:

Any request for refunds must be received no later than 5 working days prior to the ceremony. The claim MUST be in writing and should include your email acknowledgement (if you have it), your College/University and Faculty, date and time of ceremony, a stamped addressed envelope. A €5.00 administration fee will apply to all refunds.

PLEASE DO NOT THROW HATS IN THE AIR AS THEY WILL GET DAMAGED

Here at McGinley’s we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the products and services you have requested from us.

Your Personal Data

What we need:

McGinley’s will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information. This does however include name, home address, email address, phone number Height and Qualification

Why we need it:

If an order is placed with us, we need to hold the personal information set out above so that we can process and fulfil your order. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you. Saved card details will never be shared with third parties and will only be used to process your order, using our payment partner's systems.

What we do with it:

Your personal data will be processed to fulfil your order and stored. All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in Ireland. Unless we are obliged or allowed by law, we will not disclose your data to third parties.

How long we keep it:

We hold your information while we are processing and fulfilling your order and for a period of time after that, after which your information will be destroyed. We do not hold it for longer than necessary.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and have it corrected. You can do this by contacting info@mcginleygowns.ie If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact info@mcginleygowns.ie and we will investigate the matter. If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law you can complain to the Data Protection Commissioner (DPC).
